Born to Design was birthed in 1997 by Founder and Creative Director Todd Adkins. The company name was derived from the answer he always gives to the question of how long he's known that he wanted to be a designer: Ever Since I Could Hold a Crayon.

Todd lives in Avon, Indiana with his wife Kelly, three kids Alex, Corbin & Summer and their redbone coonhound Pogo.

Whether working solo, or bringing creative direction and strategic imagination to a team of specialists, Todd has brought powerful design solutions to a wide
variety of clients throughout his 20+ year career.

Born to Design’s published work includes Print’s Regional Design Annuals, International Logos & Trademarks 4 & 5, Logo Lounge 2, 3 & 4, and Graphically Speaking. Our work has received ADDY Awards from the Advertising Club of Indianapolis, a Pinnacle Award from the Public Relations Society of America, Design of the Times from P.O.P. Times, and been honored with the coveted Photoshop Guru Award from the National Association of Photoshop Professionals a remarkable three times.

Todd is also Store Manager of the online font and retro clipart company FontMart.com.
